Have never been and after the poor service WILL NEVER GO!!! Had 3 Valpak coupons and when we called to place the order, I let the young girl know we were NEW CUSTOMERS wanting to try them and I had coupons....she was unable to assist and had to get Ruby the manager to help. Ruby didn't know about any coupons (even theirs from their own website) and I offered multiple times to give her the link, take a photo to send to her of the coupons, etc. She finally called the owner Antonio only to call me back and say oh yeah there are the Valpak coupons (and online coupons) but uh we're not taking them today. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING!! There were NO LIMITS, NO DATES (except the exp. date that we were 3+ weeks away from). So after my family investing 20 minutes planning our order, this foolish restaurant decided to deny us business after paying VALPACK for the coupons and possibly gaining good NEW Customers. VITO's, this is why you will not be in business very long...your loss send us back to our favorite Alforno's Italian Kitchen in Flo Mo....never again Vito's....you lost big over a few bucks off coupon you paid to advertise. Isn't the purpose of coupons to BRING IN NEW Customers (like us) so why would you turn us away??.....FOOLS!!!!
Waste of Time.
When my husband and I first met he raved about Vito's. So he took me there for dinner one night, what a waste. Not only are they way overpriced but the food was less than mediocre. Being brought up in the city of Chicago, having Italian heritage, and my grandmother's recipes, I'd have to say I have done better at home. Firstly, their pizza crust is not home made and their eggplant is not thoroughly cooked before baking. what a dissapointment when I bit into the eggplant and it was like shoe leather. The service is horrible and you think with what they charge that you would get bread without asking and a salad with you meal. I went ahead and made sevral more visits just to make sure it wasn't a bad night for the restaurant but got the same results. I have also checked with the Maricopa County Health Department and this restaurant is not as it appears. In 2009 Vito's did not even come up to standards to be licensed. Ugh. Don't waste your time or money for this event. You will be better off going to Sbarro's at the local mall.

As good as anything in Chicago..
I waited until I had made several visits to this eatery before I did a review. You just can't judge from 1 visit.
I gave this Mesa pioneer every opportunity to dissapoint me. Never happened! Fr om the moment you enter the perpetually packeed pasta palace, you know you are in for a gustational treat. The service is always prompt and polite. And the food; being from Chicago and of Italian heritage I can tell you IT DONT GET NO BETTER THAN THIS. The pasta is high quality with fabolous sauses. The pizza crust is just the right thickness. Sause and cheese in just the right amount. Pick any of your favorite extras cuz its ALL GOOD!
And yes there really is a Vito. Catch his eye and he'll come to your table to make sure all is well
Vito's. Don't believe everything you read... except this! Vito's should be hailed as "il meglio"! Not only does Vito himself come by your table to see how you are enjoying yourself, but the food is delicious... comparable to Alfredo's in Disneyworld! The Chicken Canelloni is remarkable.. best I've ever had! I have never experienced a bad meal or time in this restaurant. KUDOS to Vito's. Also note that the bartenders pour a good drink too! Buon appetito! We always do :0)
Great place to eat. This is a wonderful place to eat. I have never been disappointed with anything that I've tried. The services is friendly, although when they are busy it can take your food a bit to come out from the kitchen.
save your money.
We tried three different pizzas and one sandwich from this restaurant, and we were disappointed on all accounts. The food is BLAND BLAND BLAND and the pizza crust rivals that of a Red Baron frozen pizza.
I will not order from this place in the future under any circumstances.
Ok Pizza. Chicago Style pizza maybe, but Chicago flavor not even close. I have had better frozen pizzas in my time. Maybe I just caught it on a bad night. It was thin and had cheese on it, I guess that qualifies it as pizza. Being from Chicago I was not to impressed.
Pizza that makes you think you're back in Chicago. Having feasted on Chicago pizza for 50 years, I consider myself an expert, especially on thin crust like Vito makes. It, simply, is the best in Phoenix!
