My favorite restaurant in Mesa. Have you ever frequented a restaurant and only ever ordered one thing off the menu because it is so good that you cannot risk ordering anything else? Los Dos Molinos is my favorite Mexican restaurant (so far).

I have been to this restaurant (only at lunch) 40-50 times in the past 10 years and have never been dissapointed, except when I showed up and saw a sign on the door saying they were on vacation for the month of July - which was actually kind of funny.

I have always experienced great service and great food. They start you out with great chips and 2 salsas - red and green - both HOT and both the best salsa I have found in the valley. I can only comment on one dish - the only thing I have ever ordered - The combo #6 Machaca Burro, Enchilada Style with Rice and Beans. It is very spicy and delicious - every bite claims an "mmmm" - that's when I know I'm eating good. Even the beans and rice are top-notch.

If you have never been here - Go! Plan a lunch date and take another friend that you know will appreciate great, spicy New Mexican fare. If you do go for lunch, arrive at 11:30 to avoid parking problems and a wait.

Best Margaritas and Hot Food What else do you need..... I must admit I was skeptical going in. but I will say iIwas happy I had a sober driver when leaving. This was an has been the best mexican food in the east valley. They have awesome birthday parties where the drinks and food just keep coming. But oh yeahhhh, they love those chilis.....be cautious.

Always going back for whether it be food, drink or just having a great time.

Spicy hot and LOVIN IT!!!!!!. This place KICKS _ _ _ _!!! The best mexican food in town for people that like it REAL HOT, not for amateurs!! So. . .if you can't take the heat, then you're better off at Taco Bell!!!

Los Dos Molinos. This was truly the worst Mexican food my boyfriend and I had ever had, and we have had a lot!; we are both over 40. Both our dishes were too salty and portions small & overpriced for Mexican food. Had it been really good food/service it would have justified the price. The service was also the worst we had ever experienced. It was imposible to get a waiter when we were first seated and next thing we knew he was gone - for the day! We waited a half an hour for our check and was even asked by the hostess, "Why we were still there?" as if kicking us out until I mentioned we still hadn't received the check yet to her surpise. I was appalled by the price - $90 for lunch! The check was not itemized; just amounts from a calcuator. So we had to go through it with a fine tooth comb and found an error. Also, I ordered a special from a blackboard that came with beans/rice but on the check the beans and rice were ala carte & had to pay for (not included) and had to pay more;we each only had 2 drinks. My boyfriend's beer was served in a glass with a big chip in it and was sour - I had never even heard of sour beer! He switched to a bottled beer. On the Border has much better food at a great price and has a nice atmosphere and good service. We were told the Mesa restaurant is much better, but since we had such a horrible experience at the Phoenix local we don't want to waste our money to see if Mesa local is better. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE!
