What the F was I thinking?

This catering business stinks! I hired them for my October wedding and it was AWFUL. When my husband and I first went in there to meet with the co-owner, there was a giant, greasy cockaroach on the floor. It was sick!! I don't know what the hell I was thinking even bothering to hire them after seeing that. The woman was embarrassed and with good reason. Oh, and this business is located in a really gross area of Mesa. The office looked like a hole in the wall; it was pretty seedy. On wedding day, the two servers that came to the wedding were very rude. They refused to set out the two party trays I had bought saying they weren't something the catering place had made so they weren't allowed to serve it. So stupid. I had to serve the damn things myself. We also asked them ahead of time to please light all the candles and decor before the guests arrived. Well, they never did. All the candles and pumpkins were not lit when the guests showed up. The decor, lights, etc. were also not lit around the buffet, which was extremely important that it be done before guests arrived, as it had a lot to do with the theme of our wedding. When my husband asked why they didn't do it, they gave him attitude. I finally went around lighting everything myself. Only then did they offer to help. But it was too little too late. The two girls were total witches. I also ordered my wedding cake with them as well. I noticed that they had a smaller one layer cake in addition to the wedding cake set aside, which looked to me like the 1 yr anniversary cake. It looked like they were hiding it or hoarding it. They never gave it to me or mentioned it to me. I guess they must have ate it on the way back. Fine by me, because the cake was gross and so was the food. The chicken was dried out, and everything else was pretty bland. The cake's icing tasted like it had too much shortening in it. We actually rented out our apartment's clubhouse and the servers demanded that no one be allowed in the kitchen area of the clubhouse, deeming it their territory and that is was off limits to everyone, including me!! My husband tried to go in there to get something, and they told him to get out. These girls were nightmares! I didn't tip them jack. I think I had been screwed out of enough money. The whole thing cost me $750 and that was to rent chairs, tables, linens, food for 25 people and a wedding cake. What a f-ing rip. If I had to do it over, I would have went someplace else.

Best Night Ever

I was a bridesmaid in my cousins wedding and Personal Chef Catering catered the entire event. It was simply amazing! They had a gigantic Fruit and Cheese display that kept everyone happy until they were done getting pictures. Dinner consisted of a Pasta bar with live Chef's prepairing everyone's food and they were even flaming the sauce. To cap off the night they had a coffee bar. The night was extrodanary and I only hope that my wedding can be half as wonderful!

Personal Chef Catering was wonderful, they catered my graduation and numerious birthday parties for members of my family. The food is exquisite, and the presentation is amazing! The staff was incredable!
