I had my doubts but it really is great pizza!. It's true, the pizza is truly NY style, the wait staff is friendly and efficient. The crust remains crispy underneath despite all the abundant moist toppings. We ordered meatball-tomato-onion and it was delicious. I plan to try their meatball sub next time as I now know how good their meatballs taste. They have 14 inch, 16 inch and 18 inch size pizzas at an excellent price.

Among the best in the Phoenix area. As a NY pizza junkie, I have gone crazy trying pizza all over the valley to find something acceptable. While there is only 1 pizza place I have found that would last more than 5 minutes in NY (Rays Pizza in Scottsdale), this is definitely the second best I've found, and much closer to my house. I find it to be much closer to the NY standard of pizza than most places claiming to be NY style, and it is clean and bright inside as well with a number of tables to sit at.

From a NY Cabbie this stuff aint bad. As a former NY Cabbie I have had the best Pizza NY city has to offer. Buono's comes as close as anything I have ever experienced in my 22 years living in Arizona.

Like no other. Buono is a great pizza family place. I know they are going to open a new location in Mesa this month. I was told that the new place is in Gilbert SW corner of Higley and Baseline.

Their prices are cheaper than anyone around. Come and you will agree with my family.

Real Cheese and Tons of it. Buonos is the best pizza you'll find in the U.S. They only use real cheese and tons of it at no extra cost. Their large is "gigantic", with slices you nearly have to fold in half to eat.

They spare no expense in their ingredients or friendly customer service. These guys built their restaurant from the ground up using an old family recipe, and now have expanded to several in the Phoenix and surrounding areas.

"It's all in the family" couldn't take on a better meaning.

Try it! You'll never go back to another. On a scale of 1-10, they easily score a 15.

Da Best. My family & I have been eating at Buonos for 12 years & it is the closest to NY pizzathat we have ever had.
