Best Italian Food Ever and i've been to italy. This is one of the best resaurants i've ever been to. great for any occasion, very romantic,fun, and just a great place when your hungry.

Romantic. I loved this place. Everyone made me feel welcome. The lighting is low and there is beautiful music playing. All the food was terrific. it came with bread and a garlic dipping sauce. Great atmosphere with candles lit on every table and a great wilne list. I was offered several different types of Italian wines. My date and I treated each other to Tiramisu and I loved it. One of the most romantic dates I've been on in a while. Goin' back soon.

Best Place to take a date!!!. Its is about time I found a place where I could share the dining experience with a date without driving all the way to the East valley. We started with some drinks. I did the usual crown and coke and She had a cosmo. We weren't bothered while we read our menu's and sipped a little. When our server Erika, returned, she suggested brushetta, so that's what we did. It was a pefect way to munch a little while I got to know my company, who chose the Halibut Piccata special. I picked Chicken Rolletini for my entree and asked the server to suggest a wine best suited for both dinners (which I thought would be impossible). She suggested Pinot Grigio and it worked well. Both meals came with a house salad that must have been a secret recipe because I never had anything like it. It was just the right blend of vinegar and oil and I could taste the fresh basil. Both my date and I were having a great time. The dinner came out steaming and all the ingredients were fresh. Chicken with spinach and prociutto in a brown gravy. I tried to tell my date how good it was but she couldn't keep quiet about her meal. We shared a tira misu with a little frangelico and my night was a done deal. Hopefully I can be that successful next week when I go again. Save my self some cash, and some gas.

Authentic. Wonderful! After living in Italy, I thought I would never find real Italian food in America, especially in Phoenix, but La Vigna is as close to authentic as I have found so far. Highly recommend!
