If you pay, They are okay.. While I obviously got a horrible loan rate 20% it was to be expected. I didn't do well when I was younger with loans and it was reflected in my credit report.

Despite that this company still gave me a loan. I have payed one week in advance for the past two years and have had nothing but good luck with them.

One time they were going to charge me a fee when I changed my insurance but a quick call and a fax later it was resolved and I was never charged.

The bottom line here is. If you pay you will be in good shape. They give loans to high risk clients.. So they are going to have to be more strict then your local bank. If you could get a loan some were else, then do it.. but if you have too these guys are at least going to treat you okay.  View Less

Not a good company. When I first purchased my vehicle, they were very helpful. I right after moved to another state and I had so many problems getting my car registered because they wouldnt send the information to the dmv for me to register it. I bought my car in March, it is now December and I am still riding with a paper plate. My registration is paid for but I cant get my plates until they send they info dmv requires from them.

I paid a car not in june with my debit card, a month later I had all sorts of charges on my card that I did not authourize, and I am still waiting for my bank to reimburse my funds, over $300 worth. In November my grandfather made a payment for me on his credit card, and a month later, he has all sorts of charges on his credit card he did not authorize. They say that they are a family owned business and they would never take from people like that, but I find it might suspect that the same thing happened to both me and my grandfather after paying my car note.

I was told that after I made payments for 6months, I could trade my car in, but no one will even touch the loan.

If you are a day late on your payment, they call you and everyone on your referrence list and tell all your business, how many times you have been late, how much you owe, when your loan expires, that is just too much info to give to someone who is not financially responsible for this loan.

I wouldn't recommend this financial service to anyone.  View Less

Unbearable Business Practices. 1) While I have not directly had an issue with any type of tracker on my vehicle, the contracts they have customers sign do in fact authorize tracking devices to be installed prior to releasing the vehicle in order to find it in the event of "default" and repossession (and their definition of defaulting varies depending on the circumstances).

2) I have had a loan with these guys since February 2008. I paid on time for the first year and a half or so, then started having to pay a month behind due to losing my job. In July of 2009, they reported to my credit the vehicle had been repossessed (although it hadn't) and stopped reporting ANY payment I was sending them (but continued to take my money anyway).

3) Recently had my vehicle repossessed due to being approximately 15 days late (something that didn't matter over the past year). It was repossessed Friday without any ability to reach a person who had authorization to release it over the weekend. Was told Monday the total amount was approximately 400 to get the vehicle returned. Was told to bring money to the office. Then was told to use Western Union to send it. Then was told only cash could be used. Then was finally told that my "note had expired" and my "contract was up" (although my contract states February 2011), so I would have to pay the full 2800 to get it returned that I currently owe on the loan.

However, the highest I can seem to come up with in math on what I owe appears to be around 1500, and that's WITH finance charges throughout and shouldn't be what the PAYOFF amount is. Thus, the argument that this "scam" they pull with people regarding not having "proof of insurance" despite bringing cards to the office, faxing full documentation, and having insurance companies call in to verify is probably what shot the bill up - a point that can be argued in the very letters they send that state if you can prove you had insurance at the time, then it will be "refunded" or taken off your charges.

Customer Service - It has been the most ridiculous thing I have experienced in a company - EVER. I work in law enforcement and security services, and I have yet to come across anyone as rude as Claudia at the office. She seems to enjoy listening to people being upset that they can't get anywhere, and finds any way to change topic or solutions to get vehicles returned. Then, as if that weren't bad enough, she is defended by her fellow office mates who state that the company doesn't have a "legal requirement" to give the vehicle back even if it is paid off in full once it has been repossessed (another fact that is plain wrong, even in their own contracts).

That is the shortened version of the hell I have had to deal with. The only upside is Julio is literally only there to do his job and has never been an issue, and Lisa (as easily as she stresses out) can actually be a total sweetheart if you're willing to talk to her and get her to calm down. Claudia is a nightmare and while I'm not amazed they still have her hired on, I am amazed she hasn't had a stroke from the stress she causes herself just going off on people.

I am currently gathering information to send to the Attorney General of AZ and the Department of Financial Institutions on this company due to the stress and mental and emotional health issues these people have caused. If anyone would like to send info to me, toss it over to Angel.Kryptor at G Mail dot com. I would love to be able to forward all the complaints at once. I'm also heading back down to their office tomorrow to finish up getting my loan handled and figure out what totals are messed up where.  View Less

GPS Tracking Devices!. BHFC installs GPS tracking devices in every car they finance. If you are even a day late on your loan they will have it repo'd. If you have a loan with these guys let me know. My company will remove it for you and pay you for your time. email me at azdlm@yahoo  View Less View More

WHAT A HORRIBLE PLACE PLEASE READ. This is to inform you that BHFC has wrongfully reposed a vehicle in Phoenix Arizona. My client Mr. Calistro Chavez, received a loan from BHFC, and paid it off in full.

In fact he has a FREE AND CLEAR ARIZONA TITLE. It was an internal error within BHFC that caused them to place my clients truck out for repossession.

My clients were without their property that has caused my clients wife to aggravate her medical condition and her to lose her job because she did not have her truck to drive to work

They have tried to contact them to resolve this, and have spoken to Elisa.

Elisa has been non responsive and rude about the matter. To make matters worse, the repo company they contracted damaged my client’s truck in the process.

Jim Weier is the owner/ president of this company and an Arizona State legislator.

They have also been named defendants in several lawsuits.

Please email me anymore complaints or bad dealings with them at
