A few years ago the Old Country Buffets could not be topped, however for the past 3 yrs or so, they have become neglected and IMO I don't see how the Health Department lets them stay open. Their food is usually cold or has an old taste. Much of the help are rude and they appear hygienically challenged. Some if not most couldn't understand English very well. I have given up on ever eating there again. It''s a shame, but it's true. Must be poor Management.

Stupid. i think it is absolutely stupid to have an "all you can eat" establishment and then charge "ala carte" for drinks. Does that mean we can bring our own drinks? What are they going to charge "ala carte' next ? Desserts? Meat? Salads?. Forks? When are they going to start a cover charge? Stupid stupid stupid ... They lost our business.

See the rest, then eat the best!. This is an awesome place, a very pleasant surprise after I arrived in Phoenix. Just $4.99 for soup and salad (3 soups and plenty of salad choices) or the full meal with meats and veggies for $2 more. I'm on a tight budget - having lunch here means I don't need to eat much for dinner. You can also add $2 for drinks but they are the worst value here - why eat excellent, healthy food and ruin it with rubbish, fizzy drinks and poor coffee? If you're watching your waistline or just appreciate good value for money, you must give this place a go.

OK, nothing more. Their food is anywhere from great to awful, their prices are reasonable, their help is mostly illegals.

Self-service restaurant satisfies budget-conscious families with all-you-can-eat, all-American home-style cooking.. In Short
A strip-mall mainstay throughout U.S. suburbs, this buffet-style restaurant caters to ravenous families who pay a flat per-head fee for all the comfort food they can chow down. Serving stations present everything from fried chicken to shrimp scampi, macaroni and cheese to steamed veggies. A do-it-yourself dessert bar allows diners to make their own sugary indulgence from a supply of brownies and cakes, syrupy toppings and multiple flavors of soft-serve ice cream.
