Overlooking South Mountain Park, this huge resort spa puts weary minds and bodies at ease.. In Short
Get out of the city congestion and head here where there's enough space enough for aerobics and water aerobics classes, complete cardiovascular workout equipment, weights, massage therapies and a lap pool. Located at Pointe South Mountain Resort, which sits on 300 acres at the foot of South Mountain, it's also ideal for outdoor exercise. Rev up with instructor-led yoga and tai chi, organized hiking, biking, running, tennis and horseback riding. Then relax and rejuvenate at the spa with a signature treatment like the Sedona Botanical Aroma Wrap, which includes hydrotherapy, exfoliation and massage.

Pretty place for a day of pampering. I received a gift certificate for a 4 hour spa package that included massage, facial, manicure and pedicure. The massage was great but the room was freezing. The facial was fine - I have my own aesthetician - but not worth $73!!! That's almost as much as my single microdermabrasion appointments!! The pedicure/manicure was great - the technician was friendly and accommodating and I may go back to her regularly. It was a relaxing day that included a light lunch. The facilities are lovely and the staff is extremely courteous and helpful. The massage was over 90 dollars for 50 minutes which although I didn't pay it, seemed very high. All and all a mix - services that were mostly worthwhile but a hefty penny.

Ghost of a chance. You have a ghost of a chance to get a good deal at this spa. -- Prices are HIGHER than most spas. While they do have a few package deals available the options when choosing them are limited. The setting is nice but nothing that special to justify the costs.
