Terrible!. Last night, 1/17/09, my husband and I attended a birthday party for one of our friends at the Phoenix Rock Bottom location. While there, our service was terrible. We had to wait 45 minutes for our food to be ordered and we had to ask 3 times for a glass of water. The waitress took almost a half hour to bring our check to us after we asked for it.

By the next morning, I looked at my bank account to find that they had charged us for our meal twice and the second charge was for 4 times the cost of the actual meal. After calling to speak to the manager today, I was told that the money was not taken out of our account yet. He acted as if this there was really no reason to be concerned. He then told me that he would call me back later. After 4 hours, I had not heard from him, so I called again to be told that he would call me when he was not busy.

I understand that mistakes happen, but I expect that they be remedied immediately and with a gracious attitude. At this point, my husband and I will not be returning to your company and we will be sure to let our friends know about this if the mistake is not at least reimbursed to us within 24 hours. Dining out should be an enjoyable experience and not one that you have to spend the next day paying for.

good food. Good food, nice variety... The service is never consistent, they only have their brand of beer, so you cant get a guiness or a blue moon, and sometimes it s dead on weekends which is never a good sign.

Rock On!. Rock Bottom is the place to be. Whether in a large group or as two, it is a welcoming place to all.

Fun and great food. I have been to all 4 locations and have found the food to be very good and more important the staff to be very outgoing and fun!!! I have had some great times and some very good beer! I never was a dark beer drinker untill I went to Rock Bottom, I spoke with Robert the GM and Desert Ridge (101 and Tatum) and found that dark beer is very light in body. Wow, what a great beer! Cheers Robert and team!

Not for Sports. I disagree with this as a great place to watch sport, at least at the Arrowhead Location.

I love RBB, great beer, good food, great atmosphere. But for sports, you can't actually hear the TVs, and the only TVs are in the bar and there is very little seating.

East vs West: A Culinary Difference. I, fortunately, enjoyed an exceptional restaurant experience at the Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery in Scottsdale. However, I recently decided to try my luck at a different location--near 75th Ave. and Bell Road. To my dismay, the atmosphere (crowd) was a bit too loud; the service was mediocre; and the steaks were bland while the vegetables appeared lifeless. But to be categorically fair, I have had better at Outback Steakhouse. I, too, agree that this restaurant is no Ruth's Chris, but it also should not be an Outback. So, if you live on the west side it is well worth the trip to the east side if you are in the mood for great food with good portions at a fair price.
