April 2008 stay.
I used to stay at this hotel a a year ago but wasn't happy - looked worn out on the inside. Decided to try it again in this week - what a difference!
They had recently renovated the entire hotel and have added many new things. My room had a new pillow type mattress - very comfortable. They now have a real desk with a comfortable executive chair. 2 phones in the room are a convenience. All of the furniture, artwork and curtains are different - modern with dark woods - a lot like the expensive "boutique" hotels I've seen. They just added wireless high speed which I'm used to in other hotels.
In the morning you now get a real hot breakfast. They had cheese omelets and sausage patties that day - really tasty! The girls that took care of the breakfast were friendly & smiled a lot.
I did get a chance to try out their fitness room - all new equipment. I had to print my boarding pass & now they have a business center where you can do that. The pool was nice and clean - should have brought my swimsuit.
The staff seemed a lot friendlier than the last time I was here. I will definitely come back here again.…
