Editorial Review for Pueblo Grande Museum and Archaeological Park – by Kim Van Syoc
In Short
More than 1,000 years old, this prehistoric Hohokam archaeological site continues to fascinate visitors. Located in the heart of the Phoenix metropolitan area, this cultural park maintains the primitive aura of primeval Hohokam Indian ruins. Within the park, one can explore the colossal platform mound (the size of a football field), ritual ball courts and irrigation canals. Explore ancient ruins dated to 500 A.D., ceremonial chambers and an observatory.
