Worst Bridal Store ever..
After driving 3 hours and waiting outside the doors to open we were given attn right away. BUT we were told the fiance and my 9 month old daughter were not welcome anywhere near the dresses. We were told the groom and my daughter could wait outside, or I could take her in back in the dressing room, but the groom wasn't allowed. Although we were upset that these rules were unknown and not stated on the website we figured we'd give it a try anyways. Being the maid of honor my best friend said she'd hold my daughter while I looked at dresses. Not even 5 minutes later we decided to leave because the owners son said we were over reacting on the store policy (which is odd because we weren't making a scene or anything)
Just so you know men and children 13 and under aren't allowed.
CROOKS. Very upset with this place. I bought what i thought was the perfect dress but they must have switched the dress I tried on with a damaged one. The zipper was ripped away from the dress as was a lot of the lace, there were no button holes to button the back up and the clasp for the zipper was broken off. The dress I tried on had none of these problems. My husband had to spend 2 hours before the wedding sewing the back of the dress up as we had no way to zip or button it up.
QUINCEANERA RUINED!. I went about a month ago to find a dress for my quinceanera. I loved two dresses and didn't know which one to pick. Customer service was amazing. So i decided what dress i wanted but didn't know which color i wanted it to be. They 'called' Mary's bridal so they could send a peice of cloth of the colors the dress was available in. The guy said he would give us a call or send me an email. I never recieved anything. My sister had to call to ask about the peice of cloth and we were told NOBODY had called Mary's bridal. So they called them and the cloth got here yesterday. I went to take a look at the color and i hated it. So i decided i wanted the dress in blue instead. BUT the lady told us that we were too late and were not gonna be able to get the dress because they had not called Mary's bridal and because it was too late to get the dress anyway. My sister had paid $100 of the down payment and she asked the lady about it and we were told that the money was lost because we didn't make a contract. I was counting on this place for my dress and now there's only 3 more months left for my quinceanera and i don't have a dress! DON'T GO THERE IF YOU WANT TO BE LEFT WITHOUT A DRESS!
great service and friendly. my wedding was in a week and i found and altered my dress in three days. it was a great price and great service i would recommend them to everyone with close weddings and on a budget
I went to Azteca specifically because the designer dress I wanted was being featured in a trunk show at their location. I was told that my brother, who had taken the day off work, had to wait downstairs even though he was no where near the dressing rooms, and when I asked why there were other men walking around the same area I was just told that this was their policy. I had made an appointment, but was left alone in the fitting room to try and do up the dress myself, and after I tried on a few dresses I wanted to write down the name of my top picks and was treated so rudely by the staff for doing so.
Needless to say, even though I could have saved $200 at the trunk show with Azteca, I decided to pay full price for my dress at I Do I Do Bridal and received amazing customer service from them. I guess you really do get what you pay for.
Worst Customer Service.
picked up my bridesmaid dress alteration and after paying for it I realized I was charged incorrectly. Although I realized it before I left the store but after I paid, I discussed it with Roena (sp?) and she stated that she would call the bride. I told her forget it because I didn't see a need to bother the bride for an alteration on a bridesmaid dress that I was incorrectly charged for. After I cooled down I called back and left messages for 2 days and was told I would receive a call back but never did. I finally got a hold of Roena the 3rd day and she argued with me and made it seem like it was my fault that I was charged for an alteration that I didn't even have done.
This is BY FAR the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have EVER received!
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!. I am only giving this place of business a star because we got a great dress at a fair price. The service however, was awful. After we bought the dress and were married, we took the dress back to the dry-cleaner at the Plaza to be heirloomed. We asked for a written description of the dress and were told that the lady that does that wasn't in, but they would have her contact us asap. We called back four days later, and the message was never conveyed, and the co-owner Royna, who apparently does the descriptions, gave both my wife and I attitude regarding our simple request. This was the CO-OWNER!! She continued to play it off and even tried to put the blame on us, until we got I got to the point I had to call her out. When I did so, she told me she would email me the description, but still had the terrible attitude. If you want a dress, you can get one at a decent price, but NEVER expect good customer service, and I would suggest you take your dress elsewhere to be cleaned.
I found my wedding dress there by chance almost 3 years ago. it was a beautiful Alfred Angelo in the clearance room for $99! The service was great! I live in another town so I took my dress home to be altered so I have no complaints there. As for the NO KID policy, THANK GOD!!! nothing angers me more than unbehaved kids running around and lets face it, people don't dicipline their children as they should. I was at David's where I had a child peeking under my dressing room door and his mother did nothing. Thank you AZTECA for allowing me to have my moment with out children!!
I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for a beautiful dress at a good price. After all, we don't wear them after that night!
WORST BRIDAL SHOP.
DO NOT USE AZTECA WEDDING. This was the most horrible experience ever! After the initial sale of the dress every vist was horrible. The customer service is horrid. ONly a few employees are fluent in english. After wating one month we arrived for the final fitting ONLY to find out NOTHING had been done to the dress. We waited for 2 hours, then tried on the dress and the cups were distorted so the seamstress started over again. Not her fault she was put on the spot. THEN...when she finally finished the alteration she began to put the dress in the bag..we insisted on trying it again.. It seems the seamstress had pricked her finger and stained the dress red... on the breast. The owner's daughter took the dress and said her dad could get the stain out with chemical from their family owned dry cleaners, which didn't happen. The owner tried to put the blame on my daughter and I and say we had red lipstick on and got it on the dress. Neither of us wear lipstick..especially red and after waiting 2.5 hours..would we have had any on anyway? We knew exactly what happened. Now 10 days before the wedding we are waiting to see if they can get the RED stain out of the intricate pearl and embroidery on the dress without distorting it. What a wedding dress nightmare. To top it off...they cut the viel uneven, and sewed it on backwards? They claimed we were a day early for the fitting, only to realize we were there on the right day...they didn't know what day it was? But do you wait for the day of the final fitting to start altering?
Now no time for cleaning and pressing..which we were aleady charged for....NIGHTMARE DELUXE. Great at the initial sale..but then the service went bad. We heard another bride the same evening complaining that the paid for alteration didn't happen. PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE.....
Good place. I used Azteca for a my wedding dress and my friend used it for hers too. We both had really good experiences with them. Their prices are awesome and the quality is great. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Some of them don't speak that great of english, but so what? Welcome to Phoenix. HUGE selection. Make sure to check the clearance room. That's where I found my dress for $70! They also give you a discount if you pay with cash which is always nice. It is true that they won't let you bring your kids though, which is a little unreasonable, but whatever. Great experience overall!
