Phoenix >La Parrilla Suiza
Worst Service Ever!.
First of all..we were not greeted..
We went to the location on 35th Ave. and Peoria.
The waitresses had very bad manners and never asked if we needed anything else. Not attentive at all.
The food was ok. Could not actually savor it with two staff members gossiping and on their cell phones right next to our table. No smiles at all...well off to our next spot..definitely not La Parilla Suiza.
GIVES MEXICAN FOOD A BAD REP. This is the worst place I have ever ate at. This place has no taste at all, not even in the food (ouch) .. The service s*cks. It was like talking to a robot. The salsa was horrible, oh yeah and they are served in a minature bowls.I ordered shrimp fajitas, they were served COLD (WTF!)The rice and beans looked like if they just scooped it out of a can. The atmosphere was like if aint even at Mexican place. This restaurant gives a BAD IMAGE to the Mexican great food we all love. DONT GO THERE!! Especially the one on TATUM . Im warning you , YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF!!!
My second time!. Dined here last night with friends after golf - great service and food as tasty as Mesa location (see other review) there are 3 locations in Phoenix and will try them all! Loved the #39 parillada mix of chorizo and steak with melted cheese served in green pepper - fresh made flour tortillas plus salsas - my friends enjoyed the tortilla soup appectizer with guac and sour cream - freinds had no trouble ordered ala carte as well for basic burrito/taco combo and they raved over refrieds! La Parrillada Suiza foos and service consistent at 2 out of 3 locations so far - will try to eat at third and report - definitely better than your average Mexican restaurant!
Worst Mexican restaurant/food EVER!. The service was terrible, totally detached. She acted as if she was doing us a favor. No smile no kind words no, "Is everything alright, can I get you anything else"? Ordered fajitas, first time I ever got this dish and it was not sizzling, barely warm dry nasty pieces of meat that were dropped on the table. Could not get it as a combo unless I ordered it for two at $18, what a joke. Was never asked if we would like another drink, dessert anything. The atmosphere was like a grade school cafeteria, all that was missing was the food fight. Finally, when leaving there were three people at the door, not one of them asked how our meal was. Probably best, they would not have liked the answer they got. I would give this place an F-, but they do'nt warrant any grade at all. THE WORST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Worst place I've EVER been in!!!. Where do I start..the busboy was standing face-to- the-wall on his cell phone. Our food was put on a tray 2 tables away and dragged over to us bouncing all the way. A waiter standing by our table waiting to get by, started thumping on our tabletop with his hand. The water reeked of chlorine, the soda had no syrup in it, just carbonation. The sour cream tasted just like the guacamole. Taco salad was cabbage with a vinagerette. Fish tacos were 2 frozen-type fishsticks in a tortilla. None of us ate our food and we couldn't get out of there fast enough!!! Though one of our exits was blocked by staff standing around talking!!!! I'm 50 and have never had such a BAD experience in my life!!!!
all time favorite restaurant!!!. This is my favorite restaurant. The food is wonderful, the staff helpful, and the price just right!!!
I Love this Place. We've be going to La Parilla Suiza since about 1989 and it has been consistently good the entire time. We started at their west Phoenix location when we were first married and now usually go to the Paradise Valley location. The service has almost always been good, with the few excetions being made up for as quickly as possible. My wife and her family are from central Mexico and they love the food as much as I do. If you lay off the drinks, very inexpensive, too.
Have a hard time giving 10s :-). Went to La Parrillas Suiza with my granparents. Loved the menu. Very different than the traditional echilada, taco, etc. The food was GREAT. The salsa they bring you when you sit down was very good. They give you three dishes with what looked and tasted like a green pepper and advocado, a strong tomato and slight red pepper, and a fresh chopped salsa with jalepenos. YUM. The green was my favorite. The service was very good. The margaritas were fresh and tasty. The only thing I noticed was that the place was so clean it was almost kind of sterile. But that is a good thing I guess. It took away from a cozy atmosphere that I prefer. Overall I highly recommend. Enjoy :-)
