I was an employee and I'm not writing this as a disgruntled employee. I'm writing as though I would take my children there. The facility is safe, however is an extremely old facility. The staff is run by an old football coach who is abrasive and verbally abusive to his employees, creating an extreme hostile work environment. The Teachers to student ratios often are 1 to 25 or more. Accidents are rampant and children can often be seen in corners with large snot dribbles running down their faces for 4 and 5 hours and more at a time. Children are permitted to kick, and bite other children as the minimal supervision does not allow for maximum protection. Large broken toys and play areas are left unattended in many random areas at multiple times and children have been hurt due to this carelessness. A lot of racial discrimination is employed by many of the teachers there- (not all though). Maitanence issues are everywhere from broken door handles that pinch kids and adults to loose flooring, nails, staples, etc protruding from walls. Rickity toys. I do have a positive thing to say about the facility as it is generally clean, although outdated. There are some positive teachers, however the positives definately do not outweigh the negative. I would not leave my children with these people.

Cons: poor service, lazy teachers, neglect

I can't give enough praise to Susie's Mama Bear. Their staff is so incredibly warm, friendly, and excited to be there. My kids love to go to Susie's and I know that everyday is a fun new adventure for them. It's a great facility with very caring Staff. The owners, Jim and Susie, are so involved and concerned about every child's well being. I cannot recommend this day care enough.....especially since I know good day care is hard to find!
