DO NOT TRUST THIS LOCATION! There are 2 better sites!. DO NOT TRUST THIS STORE (19th AVE)!!! I've been a regular at this store in the past. They will no longer get any of my business. A few days ago I bought a large amount of silk, wool, and other materials at this location. I was under the assumption that their labeling was correct (which it wasn't). When I explained that the material was not as suggested on their labeling they stated that there are no returns, or exchanges no matter what. I confirmed that one of the materials that was labeled silk was a much less expensive polyester taffeta stretch that was valued at a fraction of the price I paid for "silk". I also explained that this was for a wedding dress and I would only like to exchange the material for real silk (of which I paid for). Again, they stated no returns, no exchanges. They do not stand behind their product, nor do they seem to know which material is which. The manager himself even stated that he has to assume the labels are correct but he's not sure. It's unfortunate that the customer service as well as the integrity of their business and product are so poor. The (unassociated) SAS on 11st and Indian School or Alma School and McClintock is much better and sells the real thing! I'd suggest all customers check them out before they go to this location.  View Less View More

The Best Fabric Store in Phoenix - 4/18/2011. Before I went to this store, I read all the awful reviews on this site... but I really wanted some variety other than JoAnns so I braved the experience. I LOVE THIS STORE. I LOVE THE PEOPLE. From the moment I stepped in this eclectic collection of everything sewing, I was hooked. The staff is friendly and almost went out of their way to assist me in my hunt for treasures. When I brough 50 appliques (all different) to the counter, they smiled and went back to the shelves to price them all. Run, don't walk to this store...  View Less View More

HORRIBLE Customer Service. I love the huge selection and the price, but the people working there are RUDE! They yell at kids, not willing to answer questions, and they act like it is a huge inconvenience to have to help you. I have gone there dozens of times and it has been like that EVERY time I went.  View Less View More

Best Fabric Store in Phoenix. It has the best prices for many different fabrics. They have a full row of bins full of scraps of leather that are perfect for details. The larger bits of leather can make clothing. It has an okay staff and the cut and measure well. This is definitely a wonderful store to shop in for all your fabric needs.  View Less View More

SAS!. They aren't always the most friendly staff, but they will get you what you want or need. I absolutely love this place, so the drawbacks are irrelevant to me. The prices are kept low, and they have a massive volume of fabrics, buttons, trims, beads, and random plastic junk. The neighborhood looks a bit scary, but I've never felt threatened, even though I am a 5' woman.  View Less View More
