Pat's is perfection!. Pat's is awesome! Was introduced to it by a coworker years back, and have been a faithful loyal customer ever since. Pizza reminds me of what I used to be able to get back in NYC when I was a kid. We like our pizza "well done" and our wings the same way. Plus, you cannot beat the prices. My only wish - we are about 1/2 mile out of their delivery range. But, we have no problem driving to get it - it's well worth it!

Authentic Italian. If real authentic Italian food is what you want, this is the place. All the food is made fresh, you can tell these people take pride in what they serve. The Lasagna is one of my favorite dishes: lots of cheese and the sauce is fantastic. You also have to try their NY style pizza, the best in town! This hideaway is small and modest, however, do not let that fool you. I recommend this place not only for the food, but also for the service, the servers and management are always friendly and make you feel welcomed.

Customer be ware.. I will start saying I began eating here when I was in early grade school, and I am not a senior in college. The pizza is cheap, and great tasting. but all of the counter people are rude and i had heard horror stories but wrote it off as it never happened to me. And now it has. I called in an order I knew it was late and they might be closed to i asked are you open? followed by is your kitchen still open? I was told yes to both. So i placed my order and went to pick it up, paid and was waiting to have it finished. they were cleaning up the lobby, and we "keeping getting in the way" at one point one of us jokingly said "i just cannot seem to stay out of the way. and the lady snipped back at us, well it is after close. After getting in the way a couple more times, we said " i guess it would be a good Idea to just wait outside" and the lady said "that would be best" Keeping in mind it is the middle of winter, we froze.

Also a couple of my friends have worked there through the years, and part of pats training is that black people are not to be served, and only take their orders if they insist on being served. Dont believe me just ask pat he will tell you.

So to sum it up. it is good pizza, but is it worth being treated as in inferior to someone making near minimum wage?

Great pizza at a great price. Being a New Yorker, I'm pretty picky about my pizza, but I have to say that Pat fit's the bill as a good New York Pizza. Here's why:

1) It's good. Real good. Just make sure to know if you like it well done or regular (I'll explain below)

2) It's dirt cheap. Lunch special will run you about 250 for 2 slices and a small (really small) drink. If you get some toppings, you're charged 30 cents a slice, now that's a bargain. I think you get charged another 30 cents for a bigger drink, well worth it. All told, I got 2 slices of pepperoni and a big cup for about 3 and a half dollars. And that, along with the great taste, is why this classifies as a good NY pizza.

See the thing is, in NY, there's a pizza joint on every other block, and everyone delivers. Too much competition in a big city means it's a buyers market when it comes to Pizza. I knew a place that STILL sells slices for a dollar. So you better know how to make a good pie for cheap if you want to be a real NY Pizza.

It's small, so don't expect to comfortably seat a large group. You could eat outside, but this is Phoenix, so let's be real about that. The decor isn't anything special, it's your average hole in the wall pizza joint, but I like that. I hate going to some place that has better decor than food, and then I end up paying 15 bucks for a pie that taste like it came from a freezer.

Now, we did notice that the lunch special slices tasted a little crisper than when we ordered a pie (to go, or eat in). We asked about the difference, and we found out that if you like it crisp, you need to ask for it WELL DONE.

And that's the best way to describe Pat's Pizza Plus: WELL DONE

My Pat Answer: Terrific Value. We like this tiny joint, nestled between a kosher glatt and TV repair shop in a strip mall off 12th street. Pat's black & white tile, cluttered counter and sarcastic hand-written "warnings" suggest a New Yawk edge, without being rude or overbearing. Eating in Ok, funky for teens, but too claustrophobic for stuffed shirts like me - we takeout. An 11 year old pizzaphile close to this reporter sez Pat's has the best pies in town. Well, it's not Bianco's but who's complaining? Quick service and a $9 large cheese pizza much tastier than the chains. Excellent sauce. Very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Pat's has great NYC style pizza. We love Pat's, it's great central location makes it easy to find and is in the heart of the city...their pizza has the best sauce, crust and tastes like a lil' piece of NYC. Been a long time customer, thanks Pat. :)

Hands down the best!. Pat's is the best pizza I've ever tasted. I am a soldier in th U.S. army and when I come home on leave the first place I stop is Pat's Pizza Plus to remind myself what it is I love about this country. I'm only surprised that this little hole in the wall hasn't received more recognition.

Best Pizza in Phoenix. This little hole in the wall has the best pizza in Phoenix. I only hope more people can realize that this place makes pizza that way it's supposed to be made, hand tossed, fresh ingredients and great sauce. No other pizza in Phoenix comes close.
