For being surrounded by toys, he sure is mean

I've been in quite a few times for supplies, but not for traditional dolls. He always asks very condescendingly what I'm making. I tell him each time & get a "oh, you're one of those ladies," as though I don't know enough about his elitist world to stand in his presence, let alone give him money.
I actually used to make traditional porcelain dolls, so I suppose the joke is on him...in that he won't get any more of my business.
It's sad that he's the only doll-making supplier in town. I'd really like to shop locally.
- Pros: next door to good ice cream
- Cons: mean owner

One of the worst customer service experiences ever! I brought in an antique doll to be fixed back in Jan. of 2008 and still no communication from this person. It has been nearly a year. I have repeatedly tried to contact this business, left messages, but nothing. Now this guy not only has my $40 that I paid upfront, but my antique doll too. I guess this is a good business to be in - I pay him to steal my doll and now he can sell it on eBay and make a profit. What a racket!!!
- Pros: convenient parking
- Cons: Horrible customer service

I've had a doll in this shop for over 7 months : ( waiting on a doll body 7" doll body to be sewn, brought in Dec of 07 and here it is July 08. I'll try to day to see if I get more excuses. I needed this doll for my grand daughters 1st birthday in Feb. : ( but I guess this sewing must take sometime. This shop was one of the BEST and now I feel it's one of the worst experiances as far as customer service. Today I'll go see if I can retreive this doll and I bet I won't get it again, PROMISES here are plenty, plenty of EMPTY PROMISES and this shop has yet to return my phone calls, I can't leave a message as the mail box is ALWAY'S full....What's up with that??? Maybe avoiding others waiting for their thing's also??? Humm..... : (
