Bad experience but great food. First, the service from our server was excellent. Food was good. The only thing is we tried to get a 7:00/7:30pm reservation and was told they were booked on those times only to find out when we were dining that the restaurant was practically empty on those times. Secondly, the owner went around the restaurant greeting all neighboring tables and for some reason, never greeted or acknowledged our table. Lastly, even after we commented to our server about it, the owner still didn't come to our table. It's sad that a nice dinner was ruined by an owner who doesn't make all of his customers feel equally welcome. That being said, for the quality of food, I'd rather go to Marcelino's.

Chef and owner jet to Italy for inspiration, ensuring creative dishes.. In Short
This small romantic Italian restaurant is elegantly decorated with rich maple wood, plush fabrics and heavy furniture. Favored entrees include Chilean sea bass served with tomatoes, olives and capers; lasagna made with ground veal; lamb and veal scaloppine. The bread, baked in a wood-burning oven, is based on an Etruscan recipe.

Amazing pasta. Pasta was downright outstanding. Less impressed with filet and dessert. Had the chocolate cake/souffle. Good but not out of this world. Personable service. Would go back for pasta alone. Wine list was very abbreviated.

Delightful. I had the privledge to dine at Daniel's a couple of times over the spring. Each visit was memorable in taste, ambience, and service. The staff was prompt and courteous. The wine selection is exceptional and selected with orginality in mind. The menu has a wonderful variety in dish selections. The pasta is outstanding and consists of the freshest ingredients. I ate so slow just to savor the flavor over the course of the evening. And if you are desert lover... you have to try the chocolate lava desert. it is absolutely divine! baked to order, served over white chocolate sauce, the smooth chocolate taste will resonate for hours following the dinner. and when you exit, take a peak out the front window, to the right, there is a beautiful view of camelback mountain that is so quaint and refreshing!
