Excellent. This quaint small french cuisine is an excellent place to find the best gourmet food in town. The atmosphere of the staff is excellent and the quality and differentiation in the menu is something great to experience. I have never been disappointed. Highly recommended.
Salty duck and hard bread.
We had read such nice reviews about the restaurant that we decided to try Vincnet's. We were seated promptly, but it took the staff over 10 minutes to get us our menus and over 20 minutes to drop off a very stale basket of bread.
Their signature duck dish was very salty and overall, the food and presentation were average.
During the meal, I was getting ready to write up a terrible review of the place but 1 thing brightened up our experience. We had declined desserts because we wanted to end dinner and get out of there as quickly as possible. Chef Vincent however insisted that we have dessert and we were given a delicious apple tart on the house (which we polished off).
Outstanding. Close to the airport, located on Citysearch. Spinach salad was loaded with bacon and mushrooms. Well done. Duck tamales were unusual and perfectly executed. Berry cobbler was outstanding. Presentation was award winning. Bread was good hard crust and croissants were very buttery. Olives were a nice touch and delicious too! Not cheap at $50, but an excellent meal.
Nothing but the best. I am convinced that God dines at Vincent's place at least once a week. This small restaurant offers the very best of France and Arizona, combined with success no other chef has achieved. The food is not all presentation as it is in some restaurants. It TASTES wonderful! Delicate and sassy flavors blend harmoniously into ambrosia fit to serve on Mt. Olympus. The wine list is the size of a telephone book. Desserts will have one throwing away those Atkins books. It simply does not get any better than this. It's spendy but treat yourself and then look down on lesser efforts from other restaurants.
