Very happy! Kelly is awesome! Not only did I get a fabulous haircut from Kelly but the entire staff complimented my hair :) If you live in Chandler then you have to stop by- Very nice inside too. Friendly Staff
Worst Hair Coloring. I went to Rolf's in Chandler over the holidays. I was talked into having Balayage ( color blending treatment). It was very expensive and did not do what was promised. After two weeks it was completely faded and looked like I had nothing done. It was a total waste of money.
Worst Salon Experience Ever!. This review is for Rolf's at Dana Park, but they don't have their own listing yet. I had my hair highlighted 2 days ago. I needed a small fix to the front, but they do not guarantee their stylists' work at this salon. Told me I could have a re-do for 80% of full price. Also, I tried paying with a gift certificate I bought at a legtimate auction 2 months ago, and they would not honor it. So I am out $180 for the GC, $165 for the actual hair-do, and another $100 for another stylist at another salon to fix it. Cyndi is one of the managers at this location, and she is absolutely unpleasant to deal with. Desk staff is very inexperienced and ineffecient. Already reported this salon to the B B B. Total lack of ethics. Expected way more from a top salon like this.
Do NOT go to Rolfs!.
When I first went to Rolf's I was pleased with their "lead" stylest b/c he fixed my mess of a hair. Thereafter, he got really sloppy despite me giving him really good tips. The last time I went to see him he slopped through my haircut and messed up one side of it and then was too lazy to style it (or he he knew that he messed up and didn't want me to see the reults) Said to me, your just going home right? Not only that, but he was rude and incensitive. For example, he was badmouthing one of the staff to a patron. How cruel! $90 for a rude phony to c ut my hair, never again!!! I would of liked to use some choice words, but the site won't let me. :)
The salon needs to learn customer service big time.
Over-priced for mediocre do.
I was not at all impressed with this place from the minute I walked in the door when I checked in with the front desk. Not friendly at all. I got a really expensive hair cut that was nothing like I discussed prior to her starting the cut. She obviously cut my hair however she wanted disregarding what I wanted altogether.
I will never go back here again.
Why does everyone look the same?. I have spent the money to go to the pretentious Rolfs and it was overpriced and the staff was cold. I usually have fun talking with my hairdresser about the latest gossip in hollywood or who is wearing what etc. and the person who did my hair at Rolfs didn't talk to me. She didn't even do my hair! Her assistant did. Although the color was all right, I could have got the same color done at Wal Mart for a much cheaper price. The haircut was aweful. I came out looking like a q-tip, which, when I went to their website I realize that is the way they blow out all their clients hair. It all looks the same. There was no real creativity. On a scale of 1-10 I'd give it a 1. I'll never go back.
Salon that means business. This is one of the best salons in the Valley and, possibly, in the U.S. The cuts are superb! European haircutting techniques, highly trained staff, on-time service, lovely ambience and nice perks like cookies and wine! I highly recommend this salon if you are ever in Phoenix. I've tried a few different stylists and they all rock!
