Bamboo Now!. The Bamboo Club has taken on a whole new personality. No longer a chain, the Shea location has a new patio bar and lounge with soft seating and a firepit granite table.

Upgraded in quality, consistency and staff. Upbeat, and yummy, more cushy booths. Happy hour rocks with $5 wine and $2 appetizers.

Give them another chance. We did. It was well worth the drive.

Great customer care. I went to the location at 699 s mill ave. They parking was bad. It took me 1/2 hour to find a spot.Later to find out DTC has changed the parking rules, thus allowing for less, parking to be a little prob. here. So upstairs now on the 2nd floor. We sat on the patio and had ck wraps and chow mien, the service was Great, cory got everything I needed and more .

Best to avoid. When I entered the Bamboo Club I saw "Best of Phoenix" magazine articles proudly displayed. Someone has to be kidding. This may possibly be the worst Asian/Chinese restaurant in town. My guests and I ordered a number of dishes, and none of them seemed fresh/crisp or worthy of recommending. A very average place.

Underwhelmed!. I recently ate at the Bamboo Club because I was in the mood for some Pan-Asian food. My first impression definitely left something to be desired. First of all, the hostess took my name and then completely forgot about my party while vacant tables sat for 20 minutes+, until I had to remind her that we had been waiting. (Mind you, right in front of her eyes, and several other employees'). The server was, however, fantastic. He was very attentive and personable. When we received our food I decided that I would give the restaurant another chance. Unfortunately, the sweet and sour shrimp was much more soggy, breading than shrimp. Also, the shrimp tasted as though it had previously been frozen. Eew! The Vietnamese steak was lacking flavor and didn't stimulate or inspire me in any way. The ambiance was mediocre...it felt like a chain restaurant to me, not offering anything too unique or memorable. I would not recommend this to anyone that truly appreciates authentic Asian cuisine. I can attest that I have indeed travelled throughout Southeast Asia, sampling much of the cuisine along the way and this wasn't even a distant second.

Gone down hill. Okay this place was the BEST 6 years ago. Now the only things decent are their drinks and desserts. My friend and I ordered noodle dishes and would you believe they completely skimped on the noodles? That?s the cheapest part of the meal?? It?s a noodle dish??? I want noodles!!! All food is practically flavorless. It's perfect retirement food, if you like that?

stick with pf changs. this place was awsome before they went corporate and expanded. food is now terrible. bland. i always give restaurants second chances and both times the food was bad. lettuce was old, wilted and brown. the potstickers were dried out, stale, and rubbery. the sizzling steak used to be good. all the dishes now are covered with sauce to hide the poor quality ingrdients.

Horrible food.. Do not go here if you are looking for good Asian food. I had read the previous reviews and thought I'd give it a try. My husband and I went and ordered the lettuce wrap, pad thai and fried rice. First, I'd have to say the lettuce wrap was good - I prefer it over PF Chang's. But that was it. The pad thai was awful, you have to wonder if they ever had real pad thai before. The dish was red and saucy - no sweetness to it that is should have. They should not call it pad thai and would have probably made the dish a bit okay. The fried rice was gross. It was fried with the broccoli in it or something green that gave the dish green specs. The flavor was very different, in a bad way. I'd have to say I have never had pad thai or fried rice made this way. Prices were decent but with respect with the taste of the food, I'd say it's overpriced b/c I would not eat this if it was for free.

The service was good but not a good reason to go here. Be ware!!!

Slick Camelback spot features wide variety of Asian dishes.. In Short
This sleek restaurant consistently wins raves from locals and a diverse clientele who gobble up both the dramatic decor and trendy Pan-Asian Cuisine. The menu is organized primarily by cooking style with foods that are steamed, grilled, sizzled, wokked, noodled, deep-fried and barbecued. Within those styles, however, are specialties from China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia. The signature crackling calamari salad and the deep-fried spinach are favorites.

They tried - just way too hard. I went to this restaurant last year but just wanted to put my two cents in. This restaurant calls itself fusion for a reason, it is all over the place on the menu.

I can make better food in my kitchen and it would cost me 1/8 the price. Save yourself the trouble and head down to lee lee's market as you can find all of the food ingredients down there, spend about as much time waiting on the food and it won't be as salty.

I can safely say that there two main ingredients are sirachi chili sauce and salt.

Nice location, just needs some good food.

You're Missing Out!. The food and service there is excellent! This is by far better than PF Changs. If you haven't had the opportunity to try the Bamboo Club you are missing out!! Try this place as you won't regret it and you will want to come back. It's wonderful to have an awesome restaurant located in downtown Tempe !
