Editorial Review for Wright's – by Nikki Buchanan and Bevyn Rowland
In Short
Housed in the Biltmore resort (39 acres of lushly landscaped grounds and a ruggedly beautiful hotel, designed, in part, by Frank Lloyd Wright), the two-tiered room is bathed in diffused window light and also offers a romantic outdoor patio. The contemporary American menu is classical, but includes some fun variations, compliments of Executive Chef Michael Cairns. Entrees include Maine lobster tail or filet mignon Roquefort.

Our Visit started out with a fly in our Bloody Mary! We looked over that at first. I have got to say the food was very good, but our experience with the wait staff and management was very poor. We had the Sunday Brunch, ranking it high on quality. So we were very suprised when we had a fly served in our Bloody Mary, sometimes this happens ,but it is the way they just looked right over it, no one said I'm sorry, the thing is we were asked if it landed in it or served in it. After we had our brunch, my husband couldn't finish his eggs benidict, so we asked to wrap it to go, (too good to leave) /They brought it back in a counter unknowning to use on it's side So as we walked out it was leeking all over the floor. We weren't sure if they charged us for the drink with the fly until we received our check. Yes the Waiter did replace the drink, but you would think they would comp the drink, we were grossed out and didn't finish our Bloody Mary's anyway (Waiter should have noticed that). To top it off, the menu had the Bloody Mary's at a cost of $8.25, which we were charged $11.25. We were just going to leave the restaurant and not come back, until the container started leeking, and got on my husbands pants. We asked for the Manager, which we told him about our experience, his remark back to us was, "Thank you for your imput "and sent us on our way. Maybe the Bloody Mary was a higher cost because of the extra protein added, needless to say, we left unhappy! See it doesn't matter if the food is good, when something isn't handled correctly, that is all we remember!!! DON'T HAVE THE BLOODY MARY!!! P.S. the music they played in the background was shorting out the whole time we were there. I give them 2 thumbs down.
Pros: Good Food
Cons: Bad Management
