Charbroiled meats and fresh salsas add authentic spice to this Mexicali fast-food chain.. In Short
High tables and a busy open kitchen welcome diners into the spacious, brightly lit black-and-white interior. Just minutes after cashiers take customer orders, fresh-made tacos, burritos and enchiladas (stuffed with steak, chicken or seafood) arrive on the nearby counter. The menu also offers several plates of greens, from typical taco salad to fancier bowls with shrimp or mahi mahi. A stainless-steel bar offers several salsas, plus jalapenos, limes and cilantro for seasoning.

It's ok at best. If you're really desperate for some big burritos or some variation of Mexican food then try this place. I wouldn't recommend to anyone but once just to see if it's for you. I've been there more than once and it always seems like there is only one good thing on the menu and that is the one thing I always have. Some big huge burrito with chicken, but it is not my first choice to eat at.

American Taqueria. Baja Frash is the perfect storm of Fast Food, Mexican restaurant and street corner Taqueria. It's fast, incredibly friendly and the food is exactly what you are hoping for when you come in. The taco's are fresh and the salsa bar is excellent. It's extremely clean as well. I would love to have one of these close to my 'hood in Chicago.

Love it!. I have been to Baja Fresh in three states, and they are all pretty good. The one on Scottsdale Road is the best!!! The food is fresh and tasty!

I'm afraid I'm addicted. The food has such compelling flavor, I have to eat there several times a week! Salsas are unique.

Baja "Not So Fresh". I don't get it, what is the attraction to this place? It is just a 1/2 step above Taco Bell. The food is bland, the service is rude...do you like being called "number 143, your order is ready"?, that "salsa bar" is a breeding ground for bactieria, and worst of all...the food tastes terrible!

Fresh and FAST. The food here is FRESH and FAST -- A TRUE Taste of Baja. For those of us lucky enough to have been there and gotten "REAL" Baja food (fresh from the boats) it is like stepping back in to Mexico. Prices are resonable, service is fast, and the staff is friendly. Great place to take the Family.

`Best Quickie Mex. Great mexican fast food fixed fresh. For fast food it is the best.
