Good Home Cooking. A friend suggested that we go the My Mothers and I have to admit I was a bit hesitant inasmuch as this place doesn't necessarily show really well........but......don't let the cover deceive you. If you like good, wholesome, home-cooked flavor, this is the place for you. The turkey dinner is absolutely outstanding and the pies are the best. So, take a step back from all of the niche restaurants and cafes and go for the gusto at My Mothers. EXCELLENT!

Editorial Review. A popular pizza place that serves up large pies and a family-friendly atmosphere.

Like Mom used to make. We had a party of 7 with everyone getting something different. Not one was dissatisfied. The portions were generous and the food delicious. No room for dessert...but we had it anyway. A slice of pie is a misnomer, more like a hunk. The salad bar is average, but you can get salad anywhere. The ambience, well, there really isn't any. But then again, there wasn't at my mom's house either.

Oldie but not a goodie. This resturant has gone down hill over the years. It use to be a place that had solid food fare, albeit not fancy. It is now old and tasteless and I mourne the lost of a goof neighborhood resturant.

Giver me a break!~. Well if indeed anyone walks away letting others know that My Mothers is the place to eat I question where it is that they have dined before? Not being someone who needs all of the fluff that white tablecloth restaurants provide I thought I would try My Mothers, what I found was a mediocre attemt at providing customers with good food! I made the grave misfortune of trying spaghetti and meatballs and recieved overcooked pasta that broke as it mad it made it's way to my mouth via my fork! The meat balls tasted like ground beef that was rolled into marble size portions without any aid of seasoning! Please give me a break! This is not cuisine it is rations!

NEEDS RENOVATIONS. This place was very disappointing. The food wasn't good at all. The atmosphere is old and run down. Salad bar was extra and a joke.

Better than my mom made. The only place in town that I have found that has Real food, Real roasted turkey, not that watery stuff. Homemade mashed potatoes and homemade pies to die for.

Not much to look at, but..... What a delightful surprise! Warm and cozy with lots of customers. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable! Turkey pot pie to die for! Best Spaghetti since I left Chicago. We're going back again and again!

Pass the gravy. Solid home cooked meals with generous portions. Real turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes. Great delivery service. Watch out for the giant pie.. slice is a real concept here. Salads are only run of the mill.

Just Like Mom Still Makes. My Mother's is an experience. Go in thinking that you are having Sunday dinner at Mom's and you won't be disappointed. That is, after all, what this place is all about.

Meatloaf, chicken fried steak, pot roast, pizza. It is all here. Everything is very good and the turnaround is great because of the enormous clientel base this hole-in-the-wall has. You will also notice that there is always a couple of Phoenix cops eating their lunch or dinner at My Mother's.

Simple, good, hearty food. A nice bit of Americana.
