I dissagree with some of the negative feedback. I have been taking my vehicles to Mike's Auto for the past 10 years and not once have I had an issue with them. I have sent my wife to have her vehicle serviced and she always says she was treated with respect and courtesy. I have used other repair shops all over Phoenix and have heard the scare tactics in order to sell you the repair. I am not Family, Just a loyal customer who would recommend Mike's Auto to anyone looking for a Shop they can trust!!

has my 99 pont grand am,red 4 cyl.diagnostic check, said no compression.needs a new engine. i only pd $1000 for car.waiting for title. may buy for $400 - the $69 diag. check.decided to fix it. would check and let me know, no call. called him to find out it needs a head gasket,timing chain,$1400. my husband called him and tried to talk down the cost. told him he checked and it would be $993 ok saved money. said he would send to have have heads machined.he never called, so i called him to find out if it was ready after a week or so.he tells me he made a mistake and had another 99 red pont grand am that needed the same work and he did that one, only difference mines 4 cyl and his was 6 cyl and was glad the owner wanted it fixed or he would be in trouble. WHAT? don't believe it. so how do i prove otherwise? so i said go ahead with the car and its $1400 again.so my husband calls him and tells him he has to do for the $993 he quoted him, they argue. i talked to him and told him i want the car fixed and go ahead. said he would send to be machined. no call again. called him to see if its ready. he checked further now it needs more work i should just get used engine $1873 now 73.000 mi. story keeps changing. so ok. my daughter and i went in so i could fill out a app to finance bal.my car was there, (should of checked it then). said finance co. would call me. no call from them.called him and told him, told me an excuse of they we're in a meeting. ok? called him back about a discount on his website, said he'd call me back and needed $1000 upfront. never called. my daughter, her husband and i went into the shop to find out what's the deal. my cars not there he towed to a "storage". showed us the engine, was never machined. nothing done.can't prove its my engine. gave us address where car is, wild goose chase, no one there to give me my key and check it or tow back to my house. called the place "central auto recycle" directs to mikes. he runs both, BIG SCAM.he will not give me my car. HE'S NOT A BUSINESS MAN, HE'S A THIEF. I BELIEVE HE STOLE MY CAR FROM UNDERNETH ME.

Never do business here!. Clearly anybody who gives this guy a good review is either family or friend because any person with half of a conscience wouldn't recommend this guy to someone. This guy is the biggest joke in town! He gives all honest mechanics a bad name!!! He took our car, said the same thing (seems it's the only thing he knows how to say based on past reviews). Said the water pump was bad. Two weeks later, he still had our car. Said something else was wrong. Two weeks later...again...still had our car. Everytime my husband called him (because he never called us) to ask about the car, he had another excuse. Said that the car was finished (one would think that means everything is put back together) and he's running tests. I'm telling you all this because if you are hearing the same thing from him get your car out of there now!!!!. This charade went on for almost two months. When we finally had enough of his unprofessionalism and complete lack of knowledge and paid out almost $3,000 to him without the car even getting fixed, we told him to tow the car to the dealership to have it fixed the right way. He towed it over at the last minute. The dealership opened up the trunk to find all of our parts sitting in there. Can you believe it? It gets better. As they were putting the parts together they took pictures for us showing us all the things we paid him for but he didn't do. He forced parts together, stripped pieces and didn't repair them, and made a complete mess of the car. We are out over $3,000 now and the car is in worse shape than before. Now we have to pay more money for the dealership to fix all that he ruined!!! He is the worse businessman ever. He makes promises over and over that he cannot keep. Never calls back his customers as he promises and screens his calls only to hide behind his female secretary. NAPA is only the first and the smallest of who we will contact on this matter to get this resolved and get our money back (peanuts compared to the headaches, hours of work taken away from us, personal time taken from us and arguments this has caused between me and my spouse). Worse experience we have ever had in life!!!!!!!!

DONT DO IT!!!! CHECK THE REVIEWS! (CENTRAL TOWING). This place and its owners are crooks!

This place and its owners are crooks!!! They stripped the bolts on my car and then tried to force me to pay for a towing job so that they could fix THEIR damage. When I told them I was calling the police to file a report (which I did) they told me 'good luck with that'. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT USING SUCH AN UNREPUTABLE COMPANY!!! I'M ALSO CALLING 3-ON-YOUR-SIDE, AMERICAN EXPRESS AND NAPA! I took pictures of the damages, have my receipts where I had to pay for it to be fixed somewhere else, and have my next door neighbor as a before and after witness...we're going to court!
