OMG, this place is wonderful! The assortment is unmatched in any single place I've visited (and I'm 65 and been 'around'.) Moreover, the help is very, very courteous, assisting and even more. (The 'less' than helpful ones seem to have opened their own elsewhere!) For anyone who thinks it takes time and is hard to shop here, let me say this about that: Having frequently been to both very high end 'salons' (where the fabric is limited, books are plentiful and a REAL pain to shop) to the Los Angeles fabric mart, where selection is astronomical and chaos, volume and 'do it yourself' are the day's norm....this place is a wonderful happy medium. I will return SOOO often, focusing on mostly 'semi-normal' clothing, drapery, etc. For more 'unusual' in upholstery, etc. I'll still go to Home Fabrics (great prices and good selection that turns over often); and in clothing unique...the mart. But, to do it 'all' for everything, this is the only place I've found with so much 'out the door' goods under one roof. LOVE these ladies and gentleman, too!

Maria. I love SAS Fabrics. Who would have a business in Arizona without air conditioning?! However, Maria maybe you should learn how to spell before you lecture anyone on writing correct english! "browse" NOT brouse!!!!!!!!

Great Fabric Store. I find lots of useful fabric for clothing and crafts there. I don't need sales help to find it for me. I like to brouse and that is the perfect place for it.

Re complaints: If you are too wimpy to deal with hot weather, you don't belong in Phoenix during the summer. If you can't write correct English you should not be teaching school, ANYWHERE.
