Always in rhythm. I have always had a good time here. Nice people, and the bands have people dancing every night I've ever been there. Wish there were a few more seats since you do get tired from all that dancing. Good problem to have though I guess.
Central Phoenix club books the best of blues and rockabilly..
In Short
Since opening in 1991, this utilitarian venue has become an indispensable cog in the Phoenix blues machine. Apart from its regular dark night on Mondays, it offers a reliable haven for local acts and a chance to see touring performers who otherwise might bypass the city. The club also dabbles in other styles with a cult-like following, such as R&B, swing and jazz.
Quality entertainment even if a bit crowded.... Rockabilly, blues and other great genres are performed here. It is a tiny venue and they do pack them in but the BBQ is good and the live music more then makes up for it. It gets a bit smokey and the bar gets crowded so beware.
Refreshingly utilitarian. This bar/club has little in the way of decor -- a positive thing, in my book. No TVs either, so no distractions -- meaning that people actually have to TALK with each other to have a good time -- a novel concept nowadays. Music is often raw, gutsy, and sincere. And, yea, the barbecue is a great touch. Drinking and dancing here is almost as good as drinking alone.
blues Clues!. Love this place! There's blues everywhere you look. People, songs, bands, everybody digging the same thing. Talent in abundance.
loud and good. ....could not believe they could get this many people in such a small place.......what a great room that was.....the name says it all, 'rhythm room'..its really just a small room...but the music and the legends are legendary.....thanks for a wonderful night in phoenix......
