Three of us dined at Christo's last evening after not having been there for several years and we were much more than delighted with the food, the service and the ambience. We're Italian and tend to critique Italian and Greek cuisine and the food we ordered from appetizers to entrees was exceptional! We won't stay away this time.

I love this place!. I'm so glad that I found Christo's! I drove by it for years without ever thinking about it and then my friend took me there. It's a shame that it took me so long to try it out because it is great!

Such a great place. This is fantastic Italian Food!! It is kind of tucked away and you might not notice that it is there, but it is awesome. I just love their pasta and their bread is awesome.

Like being in Italy without ever leaving Phoenix.. 15 years ago a client of mine took me to lunch at Christo's for a business meeting and let me tell you, it was amazing! I was so impressed that I took my wife there, that same day, for dinner. We both fell in love with the place. The service is impeccable, the management is extremely personable and are happy to see you every time. Above all, the food is the unbelievable. Everything I have ever tried has been extremely tasty and AUTHENTIC!! I would almost go as far as saying that "Christo's does Italian food better than the Italians". It truly is a dining experience. The owner, his wife or sons are always there to oversee the establishment. When you walk in, the elegance and ambiance take you by surprise. Don't judge this book by its cover, because frankly it is one of the best Phoenix has to offer. They have the freshest fish, and unbelievable duck and ossobuco... Dont worry, they serve mouthwatering pasta dishes as well. There is something for everyone. Whether you're having a business meeting, a romantic date or celebrating a birthday or anniversary, this is the place!! I leave so happy every time, not only is the food amazing, but soup, salad and endless bread are always included with every entree!

Good value. As for the positives, an incredible value. The food was extremely reasonable and the service was pretty attentive.

After reading the reviews, I expected a high quality ristorante that people were raving about featuring authentic northern italian food. The choices were good typical "american" italian fare, such as Caesar salad (not really italian, but everyone always expects it), saltimbocca, penne pomodoro, etc. I really missed seeing an arrugula salad, more interesting antipasti, risotto, gnocchi, etc. I had the Veal Saltimbocca which was good.

I guess for a "ristorante", I was thinking soups, salads, and more courses, which is more familiar to me, e.g. salad, soup, small portions of pasta/risotto, with secondi entrees of lamb, veal, seafood, followed by an italian dessert (tiramisu is a little overplayed, perhaps a nice italian fruit tart, sorbetto, etc.).

Contrasted with the crumby chain italian-american restaurants (Maggiano's, Macaroni Grill), this place is a gem. Compared to other northern italian ristoranti, it leaves something to be desired, but overall a good place with reasonable food at great prices.

Best Orange Duck Ever!!!!. I highly recommend Christo's!!!! From the moment, you walk in the ambiance and elegance will set you in the mood for a wonderful evening... The service is wonderful!!!! I commend the staff for seeing too all of your wants & needs.... You'll never have to wait for anything at your table, and what I truly love is that your Maitre d ? makes you feel like you are the only one in the restaurant... Now that is great service!! As for the food, simply put " Delicious.." This is a perfect place for any special occasion, like Valentine's Day!!! If you looking for a great food, wonderful service at a good price then Christo's is for you!!!

Most Wonderful Veil. This is the best restaurant in Phoenix by far. The atmosphere and the cuisine are excellent, not to ritzy or pricey yet elegant and quant. The service is highly attentive to customers and the food is out of site! The seafood is brought in fresh daily; the bread is always warm and fresh. Your glass never reaches the half way mark servers are anticipating you before you think you need more. In the bar area they have wonderful music and singing serenading the crowd as you enjoy your meal. Everyone we have taken there or gone on their own has enjoyed the place. The folks who run the place take pride in their work and stand by it. I recomend this place to any and everyone..... Ciao
