Pino's Pizza Al Centro

Great all around.. I know you might be daunted by the small front parking lot (there is more space in the back!!) and long lines but the service is fast and friendly. I've been here more than my fair share. I've had all the specialty pizzas (delicious) and most of the pastas. I'm a self proclaimed Italian Chef and usually can't eat any italian dishes besides pizza, but the sauces here are to die for. I wish they were open on weekends but that's what you can expect when it's an authentic italian small restaurant. It's worth it to make the trip during the week and get leftovers for the weekend! bravo Pino,best italian food in phx.. i'm italian...so i have to have good italian food. i tried a few places here in phx. but i always go back to Pino's even if it is a good 15 plus miles from my house. good pizza and very good pastas.

Excellent mom & pop joint!. I'm from Detroit and have been living in Arizona for a few years now, and I hate most food here (if not Mexican). I love pizza and must say that this is some of the best pizza I have had in Arizona. The crust and sauce are excellent and the ingredients are always fresh and delicious. They also have great italian dishes and specials. I have not had these, but people I go with get them and turn into regulars here. The only thing bad I have to say about this place is the seating is very open and kind of cafeteria like. The other bad thing is its not open on weekends. Just an FYI for those of you looking for good food here. You cannot look at the "Best of" lists for Arizona to get the best food because none of the best places are ever on the list, GO FIGURE!! I have only found 2 other places that are comparable in this state (Pino's on Central) and Gilbert Pizza (TRUE NY style with the oily cheese and all - not listed on this site).…

ABSOLUTE BEST PIZZA IN ARIZONA!!. Pino makes the best pizza ever, & the calzones....forget about it! I travel 15 miles one way just to eat there. Excellent service, cozy atmosphere. Only complaint, they're not open on the weekends!…
