The owner should leave things to his staff – At first, I truly enjoyed my experience at I Do I Do. I picked out an off-the rack dress that I loved at a really great price. A few months later I had major surgery that left me too scarred and puffy for the original dress. With minimal hassle, the shop agreed to place the money I'd already paid toward a new dress. Awesome, right? Well, I told my mom and step-mother to consider getting a dress there as well. I had already spent a lot of money there and we were prepared to spend even more. I expected better.
We were in the neighborhood and stopped by. The new location is much smaller and seemed to have far less selection. The owner was a total jerk about our not having an appointment, although I had been told before that one was not needed for bridesmaid/mother-of-the-bride dresses. We said we could come back another time, but he insisted we stay -- only to continue to hassle us for being there without an appointment over and over. Finally, the owner decided to bring up politics, and even when it was clear he and my step-mom didn't see eye-to-eye, and she asked him to drop it, he kept going! I can't wait until my dress arrives so I can pick it up and be done with this place. My mom and step-mom purchased their dresses elsewhere.
Horrible Customer Service!! Way too corporate! – From our call for an appointment to trying to order the dress this place was a nightmare! I am a wedding consultant who accompanied my client to her appointment. I will never recommend this place to my Brides! I actually got yelled at for not sitting in the right spot! Completely tacky and unprofessional. We went with another dress simply because it was sold at another salon.

I had an amazing experience at I-DO I-DO. I was absolutely dreading trying on wedding dresses so much in fact that I kept putting off scheduling an appointment. Finally I decided to do it. When I went in I had absolutely NO idea of what type of dress I wanted. They showed us all the section of dressed (which were organized perfectly) and then brought us a rack. My bridesmaids and mom dove right in pulling all different types of dresses. The girl helping us was there to answer any questions. She also pulled a couple of selections she thought I might like based on the styles we were pulling. Once we were in the dressing room and had a better idea of what I liked and what I didn’t like they pulled a couple more for us. There were even a couple of associates who were not helping me that saw me walk out with a dress on to show everyone and would run and pull a dress for me to try that they though would look good and fit my style.
They asked a price range which was under $1000 but with all the bridesmaids pulling dresses without looking at price I wasn’t sure what I had in my mix :) When I found my dress (which happened to be one that one of the sales associates had picked out for me, BEAUTIFUL!!) I was afraid to look at the price tag but when I did I was SO SURRISED at the price it was right in the price range I wanted and even a little under. We also scheduled our appointment and hour before they closed because of work schedules. They were more than willing to let us stay a little longer to try on my last couple of dresses. What I thought was going to be an awful experience turned out to be a GREAT DAY and the credit was due to the extremely helpful and friendly staff at I do I do. Thank you so much I look forward to coming in Feb to get my dress! and I would recommend them to anyone!
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! – my dress was BEAUTIFUL but the end of my experience was awful. They told me my dress was suppose to be here Oct 1st and it did not arrive til Nov 15th. My wedding was in 2 weeks!!!! The owner called me a liar and disrespected me in front of other clients. He was a jerk.. however the ladies were very apologetic and compensated a bit for me! It just put a bad taste in my mouth at the end of my wedding planning!
Worst customer service experience of my life – This was the worst experience I have EVER had with any store. I ordered my wedding dress, my bridesmaids dresses, and my flower girl dress from them and didn't even get my bridesmaids dresses till 2.5 weeks before the wedding. M flower girl dress was never ordered and they told me that six months AFTER we placed the order and a MONTH before the wedding. They would never call me back. Then on top of it all the owner was horrible and argued back about everything I said. They also called me two months after ordering the dress and told me that it would now be an extra hundred dollars because the company stopped making the dress. This was AFTER we had a signed contract. The owner then proceeded to tell me that a contract can change at ANY time. Even when buying a house......This is the OWNER telling me this. So I'm wondering what's the point of a contract? Also they don't even do the dress alterations there. It is an extra charge, I am so angry about this store that I am actually taking my time to write this.. I DO NOT RECCOMEND GOING THERE!
It's a shame that I looked foward to this day for so long..only to be let down. – I recently went to I Do, I Do to start shopping for my wedding gown...most people would understand that this is a huge deal, right? Of all the people, you would think that a place titled, "I Do, I Do Bridal" would understand this the most. I was told over the phone when I made my appointment that it would only be an hour. I didn't think anything of it at the time, I just firgured thats the time you are given to have a personal assistant there to help you. I didn't know that when your hour is up, you pretty much have to get dressed and will no longer be helped. The girl told me to pick out 8 dresses and that we would go from there. So we did. As I was trying each one of them on, she was helping other people too, so I was standing around waiting on her to help me zip/button up. Oh by the way, they didn't let my friend come in and help me get dressed..I got to try on four out of the eight dresses that I picked out because I spent half of my time waiting on her. She told me that I had 5 minutes left. I told her that I wanted to try on my other dresses. She told me that I had to keep things moving along because it is a Saturday and there are walk-ins. I am sorry, but I live an hour and a half away and if I am the one making an appointment then I should be getting the service. I can't believe that I was being told to leave so that the people that didn't even make an appointment can get in. So don't even bother making an appoinment, you will get better service as a walk-in. Go to Addy's, you will get great service there! Another thing, if you like the designer of a certian dress, they won't let you take pictures in their shop and they won't tell you the name of the designer until it is purchased.
great experience – I had the best experience at IDO! IDO Bridal purchasing my dress!! the customer service was excellent and the sales representative was so helpful. she helped my find the dress for my special day!!
Worst Customer Service – I had one of the worst experiences at this bridal shop. I made my appointment, asked if they had a specific dress, which the did, drove 2 1/2 hours to the store only to find out they didn't have the dress, the one on one customer service that they claim on their website does not exist. The girl that was supposed to help me what helping others during my appointment. My mom and sister ended up doing everything for me. When my sister spoke with the manager about how disappointing our experience was, the manager responded with "it's a Saturday" which my sister responded "my sister made an appointment, your website states appointment only, one on one consulting, maybe you should live up to what your website states." I did find a beautiful dress and would have paid the full amount right then and there if I had been treated the way I Do! I Do! expresses themselves on their website. I found my dress elsewhere, where they make you feel like a princess and take all the time in the world to help you that same day, a Saturday.
Great customer service – I Do! I do! was my second wedding dress shopping experience and they were fabulous. When getting lost on the way there, they gave helpful directions. Were on time when my apt started, friendly and had a HUGE selection that was very organized. Staff knew tons about the dresses and styles. I even forgot a strapless bra to wear under my dress and they had onsite strapless bra sets to use to try on with the dresses.
Only con is that you only have 1 hour appointments, and can only try on around 8 dresses.
You have to have a separate apt for bridesmaid dresses and they prefer it be on another day.
Fantastic customer service! – I went to I do I do bridal in May to look for a wedding dress. I had some bad customer service experiences at other stores so I was nervous but the girl that helped me was so helpful and fun that I instantly started enjoying myself more. I like that I was given an associate to work one on one with, she made me feel like I was the most important bride ever. They have the largest selection of the most beautiful dresses that I have ever seen! I couldn't decide between 2 dresses so they put my hair in this really pretty up do for me and they found a bridesmaid dress and flower girl dress that looked so good with one of the dresses and that sealed the deal. I only wish that I had gone to this store earlier and I highly recommend it to everyone getting married! You will not be disappointed!
