Manager seems to hate children.
The manager has terrible customer service. Investigating a gunshot noise from my child's bedroom is more appealing than giving hard earned money to a place that has Vinnie the Swampass as manager.
The food was great and the atmosphere wasn't bad in terms of games.
The manager, however, has no customer service skills. I can't imagine one feels very rewarded counting tickets and shucking pizzas all day but I still expect more from someone who gets paid to manage the work of others.
I didn't catch his name but he's easily recognizable. He's a tall, greasy man who reminds me of a lumpy mafia underling that's starting life over thanks to snitching for the witness protection program. You know they give out nicknames based on physical attributes. Him having a constant case of swampass earned his monicker. The kind of person you would try to avoid eye contact with in the street for fear that he'd ask to borrow money.
To summarize our experience: after the children in our party collected all of their tickets, earned from spending countless tokens on games, they assembled at the prize station to claim their cheap gifts. That's when they had the unfortunate luck of crossing paths with Vinnie the Swampass, aka the manager.
In the middle of assisting my neice, he abruptly walked off on her, without excusing himself or asking her to wait. She stood there dumbfounded for an awkward period of time until a different employee walked up and helped her.
When I addressed this behavior, Vinnie the Swampass simply said "I had to do something. She was being treated okay, I just had to do something else". He seems to think that a child isn't worthy of the same treatment he'd give an adult. That seems an odd mentality for a manager to have, considering the majority of his business is children.
Long story short, I'd rather punch a grizzly in his balls than give my money to this place again.…
NOT A FAMILY PLACE.
Peter Piper is supposed to be a family place. I do not consider a place that serves beer to the parents of out of control unsupervised children and grown men wearing T-shirts with the F word to be
family oriented.
I guess the police on duty should have been our first clue.
We can not even give it one star. OK, maybe one, after all, we were not shot at.…
Yum Yum.... I thought Peter Piper was a good place to take the kids and get some good pizza....I love it!! I could eat there everyday or almost...I know everyone enjoys it that I know.
