Editorial Review for George & Dragon Restaurant – by Eric Waggoner
In Short
Street maps of London dot the walls and flags hang from oak beams. Five-seater booths, along with a mess of four-top tables, add to the atmosphere. Plus, it offers one of the Valley's largest collections of obscure '80s music on its jukebox. George and Dragon offers a generous menu of pub-food favorites, including shepherd's pie, fish-and-chips and the popular cheese-bread-pickles workingman's snack.

I lived around the corner from this place for a little before moving back to Philadelphia and it was one of the only places I would go to. The people who worked there were great and the crowds that came in were great as well. I miss the tattoo bartenders and waitresses it was the only bar that reminded me of home. At the end of the night the owner comes out with a megaphone and yells at everyone to go home...classic. For the people that don't like smoke don't go here there are trendy places right down the street that you would prolly like better anyway.
Pros: AWESUME
Cons: There not open later

Ok so we knew it was mostly bar with smokers but they had a seprate room for non-smokers so we thought it would be ok. It wasn't. The fan was set to pull air up, so it pulled all the smoke from the rest of the restaurant. When they brought us our drinks they gave us costers with "Vote Yes on Prop 206 " excuse me we aren't smokers and we asked for smoke free area then they try to push us to vote to abbolish all smoke free bars and night clubs in AZ. So now that we all voted in 201 and down 206 so all those dam smokers can stay home and smoke while we enjoy the city. Oh and now G&D can cut down on the salt because we can tast our food with out the extra salt. NOT that we would ever go back!!!
Pros: Its close to home
Cons: Salty
