Tasty Pupusas in Town.
We were searching for a nice welcoming restaurant offering pupusas or food from El Salvador in general. We found it!
We were greeted as we walked in, sat down and offered menu and drinks. The place was very welcoming and we found it family friendly. Since we didn't know much about Salvadorean food, we tried a dish that contained three different foods: a tamal in banana leaf, a pastel (meat turnover) and a pupusa. We were happy with the pupusa, the tamal was good, reminded me of a "Yucatecan vaporcito". The pastel wasn't great, but it was fine, very simple tough.
We had horchata with morrow seeds, it had an interesting flavor but not my husband's fav - he is a big horchata fan.
I was not disappointed to be the first time trying Salvadorean food. I would like to go back there and try something else next time - I might want the pupusa again, it was yummi!
