Bronze dancers in silhouetted plies grace the entrance into Center Stage, which seats 815, and its more intimate counterpart, Stage West, which seats 330. The Herberger maintains a hectic, year-round performance schedule that caters to all ages. Center Stage is home to Arizona Theatre Company, the official state theater troupe, and the nomadic Ballet Arizona makes occasional appearances as well. Stage West comes alive on a regular basis with the Actors Theatre of Phoenix, Arizona Jewish Theatre Company, Childsplay and Center Dance Ensemble, the Herberger's own resident dance company.
