I have posted several reviews over the
years, all of which have been positive, objective and truthful. I believe that if you can't say
something good about somebody then don't say anything. It is with some regret I have been reduced to highlight this bars failings when it comes to customer service.
I first saw Alice Cooper in concert in London back in 1972. I managed to get several programmes from the concert and, having been to the Cooperstown restaurant previously and noticed the memorabilia they had around the walls, I thought it would be nice to donate a few programmes to the restaurant as they are part of the Alice Cooper history.
I was with my wife in Phoenix on vacation when I visited the bar on the 6th or 7th June 2011, it was mid-morning and they had just opened the doors. I asked a bartender if a manager was available and he pointed me to a manageress on the merchandise counter. I told her the story and explained why I was there, I then handed her three programmes, she seemed impressed and was showing them to the girl on the register as I was leaving the building.
I believe the programmes had some value, (they were in excellent condition and nearly forty years old), but I did not ask nor expect anything for them, they were a gift to the bar and my intention was for others to enjoy them rather than them being stored in my attic.
After a couple of months I contacted the bar to enquire if they had been put on display yet, Vicki H said she knew nothing about them. I explained the situation and she said she would look into it. After several more emails she told me that they had been located and she would send me a photo when they got put on the wall.
I left it for three months before enquiring again if they had indeed been put on display, I received no reply. I made several further attempts to contact Vicki H, along with the general information email address on their website, all my emails went totally ignored.
I then went to the cost and trouble of phoning the bar to get the managers email address, I have to admit I was surprised when these emails, to Jeff M, also got completely ignored, I re-sent them all to no avail.
I have since had an email suggesting that I have wasted the staffs time and that I am a busy body(?), however, had any of the individuals had the decency to respond to what I believe are justified requests this would have stopped a long time ago. I gave the programmes to the Bar, not for any individual or individuals personal gain, the deliberate lack of response would suggest that this has happened. It would also appear that I have been lied to by Vicki H and that there has been a concerted effort to cover up what happened to the programmes, including by manager jeff M. They have said that my email address is going on their spam list so will not get a reply, no change there then, I got no replies anyway.
All I asked was confirmation that the programmes were going to be put to the use intended, I was promised a photo of this, I do not think that was asking too much really.
I would advise every potential client of Alice Cooperstown to think twice about going there, some of the people you are potentially going to keep in employment are deceitful and unpleasant individuals who should not be allowed anywhere near a public service role.
I would not recommend the food either, I had eaten at the bar on a previous visit and found the food to be of quite a low quality, this was the reason I didn't stop to eat when I donated the programmes.
Obviously I have a record of all the emails, including the one where the programmes were "found".
Avoid this bar.

Total disaster. This is the only time I can remember walking out of a restaurant without being served. The service at this place is non-existent. Arrived shortly after the traditional lunch hour. Patio was completely vacant and there were some open seats in the dining area. Waited 5 minutes for the hostess to return to the hostess stand to show us to a table. Sat at the table for 30 minutes waiting for a server. Tried in vain to flag one down. It became apparent that we were not going to be served. Another table of four immediately adjacent to our table had been seated prior to our arrival. No server visited their table either. After 35 minutes, we walked out. No one even said anything to us when we got up and left. Needless to say, none of us will ever set foot in the place again. I don't know what it will take for Alice Cooper to get of his duff and make some over due staff changes at this place, but this place is a total embarassment. Avoid this place at all costs." Alice Coopers Town Rating by Paul. If anyone says this place is good, he/she is either used to very mediocre food or is a biased reviewer-probably the latter. My girlfriend and I went there prior to seeing the Diamondbacks. She had very fatty and tough corned beef, and I had the turkey club which was very mediocre. The coffee, served in plastic cups (high class!!!!) was diluted and tasteless. Trust me-this place is a gimmick, and it is riding on Alice Cooper's name and great location. To all those who may be listening, a good place has nothing to do with the city. I've been to many good and bad places in NYC. It all comes down to the chef and management. Paul View Less … View More
If You Like Music and Non-Stadium Food.... This is a cool place to hang out before a DBacks game. The food and drink are better value than inside Chase Field. Ane even better, I get sucked in to looking at the memorabilia every time! View Less … View More
