In Short – North Scottsdale residents in the mood for "something different" and out of the ordinary flock to Mosaic, a trendy spot featuring new American cuisine and outfitted in a contemporary take on Southwestern motifs. Try the beef tenderloin with smoked tomato chutney, lamb chops dusted with garam masala, and the game platter, with wild boar, venison and Muscovy duck. Not hungry for a full meal? Retreat to the lounge for appetizers and a lengthy wine list.
Consistently wonderful

Eaten here several times and never disappointed. Delicious food with ever changing menu. Not inexpensive but worth the money. IMO, best wine list in town. Not too big but plenty of choices. Many select wineries. Matthew is the best sommelier around. He truly loves wine. Can't wait to go back. Personally, I don't think the wine prices are outrageous. Great wine by glass. A standout restaurant in a very good restaurant town.

We are from out of town and found Mosaic through OpenTable, decided to give it a try and were wonderfully surprised with the quality of the food, service and ambience. A very memorable meal within close proximity of Pinnacle Peak. One of us had the vegetarian duo (the variety of the vegetables was terrific and they had deep flavor) and one of us had the tenderloin, which was one of the best steaks I'd ever had. The staff helped us select a wine that was perfect for both meals and one of the owners taught us a little local trivia while we dined on our organic salads. Delicious, flavorful food and terrific, personalized service. Worth the drive. If we're back in Phoenix, we'll be back to Mosaic.
- Pros: Quality of food, Attentive service, Presentation of food
- Cons: Wine was overpriced

The waitstaff was incredible. Put napkin on our laps. Elegantly dressed food, that tastes out of this world. I had the beef tenderloin, I cut it with a FORK. The chef and owner, came out and spoke with us to make sure everything was satsfactory.
Incredible tastes, and selection. Home-made rolls with herbed butter were out of this world!!!!
Try the grilled prawns, and the chinese chicken salad. The earl grey cheesecake was to die for.
- Pros: Classy
