Cerreta Candy Company has dished out its famous sugary confections since Halloween 1968. Inside the roomy shop, nestled at the edge of the Glendale historic district, visitors witness candy-churning machines, chocolate vats and a three-foot metal chocolate Santa mold. It's a sweet trip both for the inside peek and the chance to taste test. True to its Southwestern roots, products venture into regional specialties, such as saguaro blossom, prickly pear taffy and jalapeno-peanut brittle.
