Best steak (actually served hot and as ordered) I've had in greater Phoenix area in years. Eating at the bar is equally (maybe more, given the staff) enjoyable that table seating. My wife and I just dropped in one night to see what Cartwright's is like. The effort paid off many times over. Given no rewervation we ate at the bar. It was really very enjoyable. We have returned several times to Cartwright's both by ourselves in in a group. We have requested and eaten at the bar again (yes, it was that pleasant). The experience always gains VERY high marks in ambience, staff, presentation, food quality and staff service. Again, they serve the best steak I've had in the greater Phoenix area in years. Sea food is also excellent. Their "you pick the preparation and sides" is reminiscent of Ruth's Chris, but not served in rediculous volume and not outlandishly priced. On the one occasion my wife voiced a dissatisfaction with a meal, the staff immediately offered replacement and reduced the tab by the amount of that meal...all with genuine smiles and concern. Feel at home in a suit or cowboy boots. Excellent!! We keep going back.…
