Boz Scaggs Editorial Review
In Short
Boz Scaggs may have spent two early records as a member of the Steve Miller Band, but he hasn't stuck to a single genre since. Blues, soul, jazz and rock have all found their way onto his dozen-plus records. Scaggs has grown up a lot since his 1976 single "Lowdown" (much sampled in the world of hip-hop), spending most of the '80s as a club owner in San Francisco before jumping back into music to critical acclaim.
