Convenient, Fast, Average.
I've been going to Pita Jungle for a while now. I have always enjoyed it but over the last several months my opinion has changed a bit. I do the best I can to eat healthy and have been more of a vegetarian. I really enjoy their jalapeno hummus as well as some of their veg pizzas. But as I've been eating more organic food I can tell that this place could do a better job of bringing in fresher, organic ingredients. I also am noticing that I feel much heavier and sort of bloated when I leave if I get one of the pizzas. Perhaps I am developing a gluten intolerance. I don't know. I don't feel as good here as I used to is my point. But in terms of convenience, and the ability to get veg friendly dishes, this place is ok in my book.

good spot for great food.
This place is in a hidden location, but offers a great menu and is veg friendly! Service was great and so was the food. Pita Jungle was a perfect mix of middle east meets mediteranean meets healthy. We will happily go back to this place again!

very tasty babaganoush.
Given the price range, this place seemed to be very good. Chicken shawrma was juicy and I really enjoyed eat. Babaganoush tastes exactly the way it is supposed to taste. the staff also was very friendly; they were supposed to close at 10pm, but I stayed there till 10:20 and did not see any sign of trying to keep the customers away (no dimmed light, upside down chairs, etc.)

WOW!.
Oh My. To die for! The hummus is the bomb! Especially the spiced/curry/cilantro hummus. I wanted to eat only that. I tried all the meals we got and they were superb. I had a turkey Basal pita, my friend had a hot chicken pita and my other friend had a burro.Great food, great service. Parking was fine since we went to the 44th street and Indian School location. Very busy as we were leaving. The seating is a bit cramped, at least where we were sititing. The greek salad as a side was good. The food here is wonderful. Try it out!

Fantastic Meditteranean fare.
Excellent appetizer sampler (hummus is one of the best around). Falafel is good! Carob peanut butter smoothie is the bomb! Ask for extra-thick consistency! Everything I tried is very good, even the smoked salmon wrap. Pizzas are also very good. You can't go wrong ordering something new.
Don't bother trying to catch the belly-dancing at the Chandler location. The dancer wasn't very nimble. I think she was still trying to learn the basics! The jazz band is pretty good, however. But if you want carob in your peanut butter smoothie, you'll have to go to the Tempe location... Chandler only offers chocolate syrup.

Healthy and Affordable.
This place offers tasty healthy food and affordable prices. Large portions and several vegetarian options! I have never tried anything from the Pita Jungle that I haven't liked. Tempe location just added more seating, however, the lunch hour tends to get crowded and service can slow down.

Lively venue for cheap but healthy food in a hip setting..
In Short
Planted in a strip mall that caters to the college crowd, the Pita Jungle draws hungry hordes of ASU students who come for the bustling atmosphere as much as the food. Come for big salads, veggie burgers, pita wraps, and wood-fired pizzas--many of which are given a Middle Eastern slant. Do try the Mediterranean shawarma (marinated and grilled chicken served with lettuce, tomato and onion in pita), the lentil fattoush (a rice and lentil salad with greens, cukes, tomatoes, onions and Middle Eastern spices) or the chicken pasta salad (made with marinated and grilled chicken).
