Overrated. I ordered the crab and lobster bisque, the wedge salad, and the lobster steamer. The bisque was flat out inedible. the lobster steamer had only 2 small pieces of lobster and then a bunch of mussels, clams, and shrimp. The flavor was decent but nothing to write home about. The wedge salad was the best part of the whole meal and it was only a chunk of lettuce, bacon, and blue cheese. Overall, not really impressed and will probably chose Red Lobster or Joe's Crab Shack over McCormick & Schmick's.

This high-powered restaurant wins with classic seafood dishes and a posh atmosphere.. In Short
Popular for both romantic dates and business dinners, this chain exudes an upscale clubby mood. Art deco-inspired decor adorns the interior--dark wood, shiny brass and sparkling beveled glass--and black-clad servers with sharp white shirts weave through the cocktail-swilling crowd at the bar. The classic seafood menu is seasonally inspired and changes daily, offering dishes like shellfish and creamy clam chowder and Bay shrimp cakes. Sweet, delicate Dungeness crab is the winning house specialty.

The Best. Until something better comes along, perhaps an 11, M&S has the best seafood in the Valley. Our selections were cooked to perfection. The service was excellent and the room fantastic.
