rudest bartenders in town. Amsterdam is home to the rudest bar staff in Phoenix. The drinks are overpriced. When more than thirty to forty people are in the bar, you'll get served your $12 drink in a PLASTIC cup. They use CANNED PEPSI in their rum and cokes. Did I mention how rude the bar staff is? The place is utterly congested. They do nothing to control the flow. They have big TVs but RARELY play music videos. The DJ is a six disc CD player. The place can be fun with the right crowd but the staff and managment do NOTHING to contribute to that fun time.

So this is where all the good looking men go!. Fantastic. Depressing for a single woman such as myself, but the drinks were STRONG & tasty and the staff was genuinely friendly. Decor is top-notch. It was understandably packed. Great outdoor area, loungey interior. Go and mingle.

This is the bar everyone is talking about?. OK - if you like over-priced drinks (and I mean double what you would pay elsewhere) with an underpour of liquor, RUDE staff, horrible energy, a bar with no flow and no parking - then this is your kinda place. The only good aspect - the great, hot and fun patrons. Don't be fooled.

Best. Amsterdam - visited in July 04 and can honestly say this is the most fantabulous bar in Phoenix. Incredible Martinis served by real professionals, combined with artistic elegant décor. It was a great night around great people, Jerry is an excellent bartender.

Very elegant. This bar has a very elegant atmosphere and beautiful furnishings. The bartenders are friendly and personable, and the martinis are great. Drinks are very expensive, but it's worth having one or two just to sit and soak up the atmosphere.
